The certificate distribution program for the programs (Junior, Senior, basic survey) organized in 2062/63 and 2063/64 was organized on Magh 2nd, 2064. This program was chaired by the Secretary of MOLRM in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of MOLRM. Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma, the Vice Chancellor of Kathmandu University was invited as the guest for the function. Other invited guests were the Director General of the various departments of MOLRM and the Chief District Officer of Kavre district as well as the reprentatives of different offices.
A welcome speech was given by the Executive Director. He also told about the current achievements and other activities. After that, the certificate distribution was started. The certificates were distributed to the successful trainees by the Hon’ble Minister.  Also, the certificate of appreciation was awarded to the toppers of the several courses.
After the certificate distribution, Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma made the audience aware of the knowledge based society and also talked about the internationalization of the certificates of LMTC. He also told that KU wanted to move jointly with LMTC.
The Hon’ble Minister of MOLRM said that the training imparted to the trainees is very important for the nation building and it is the responsibility of youth only to do that job. He also told that there is no accurate data of our country too in the present. So, Nepal  is now moving towards digital survey.
Lastly, the secretary of MOLRM, Mr. Baburam Acharya told about the current achievements of LMTC. He also urged that there is a need of academic degrees in LMTC in the field of surveying and mapping.
