BE (Geomatics):

This is a joint program of Land Management Training Center and the Kathmandu University. This course targets on the production of professionals in the field of surveying & mapping, land administration and geo-informatics.
Eligibility: I.Sc. or equivalent with Mathematics. Must have atleast 50%. PCM score must be 50% each.
Duration: 4 years

Seniro Survey Training

Objective :
The main objective of Senior Surveying Course is to impart senior supervisor level training in the discipline of surveying and mapping.

Eligibility :
The eligibility condition for Senior Surveying Training

Non Gazetted class I (Tech.) employee of civil service (Survey) with at least 5 years experience and academic qualification of intermediate level or equivalent with Junior Survey Training completed.

Non Gazetted class I (Tech.) employee of civil service (Survey) with at least 3 years experience and academic qualification of Bachelors Degree or equivalent with Junior Survey Training completed.

Employee of civil service (Survey) with qualification of Masters Degree in Geography or B. Sc. degree (Physical group) or Bachelors degree in Geography.

Course Duration: 16 months Junior Survey Course

The objective of this course is to develop theoritical knowledge and practical skill in the field of surveying and mapping, who supervises as well as observes the field works.

Duration of course: 12 months
Eligiblity For fresh trainees: I.Sc. or equivalent with Mathematics
For Department trainees: Must have completed 3 years permanent service as a Non-Gazetted 2nd class Survey Technician

Basic Survey Course

The objective of this course is to develop basic theoritical knowledge and practical skill in the field of surveying and mapping, focusing on the cadastral survey and basic geo-information techniques.
Eligibility: SLC
Duration: 12 months
Free of charge and 5% of the total seats are reserved for the woman candidate in senior and junior survey course. Basic survey course only for woman
